Work at the shop is still going strong. The well and mini split heat pump were installed today as well as the window and door casings. Progress!
The drywall is up and extra touches are being added. Shop made ship lap using 3/8” BC plywood and ripped to 6” wide, rabbeted, and installed with 1/4” spacers are going up as well. The ship lap will be on three of the walls floor to ceiling.
This week I put OSB on the ceiling and walls in the shop and plan to paint everything when all the ceiling and walls are covered. Power is also connected so I don’t have to rely on the generators anymore. Next step is starting the drywall in the apartment area.
It’s been a busy month here at Thomas Woodworks! In between some projects the shop now has the rough in for electrical and plumbing. The next step will be adding insulation to the building as well as starting the installation of the siding. Thanks to everyone for the continued support and encouragement in this new endeavor!
Metal roof is done on the shop. Doors and windows will be coming coming this week to install and the rough in electrical will get started this week as well. Busy days ahead at Thomas Woodworks!
